Popcaan Was Arrested In Antigua

Various reports are coming out of Antigua detailing the arrest of Popcaan on Monday night. The Drake co-signed artist is seen in video footage helping a fan escape being detained by police and then getting into an altercation with the officer himself.

The dancehall star faces assault and battery charges on a police officer, resisting arrest, and more. In 2013, he was fined for assaulting security at the Norman Manley International Airport.

Last week, Popcaan made up for the lack of his expected appearance on VIEWS with a new single called “Ova Dweet,” which you can listen to here.
