Kanye West Receiving Artist Of The Year at 2016 Webby Awards

Kanye West will be honored with Artist Of The Year at the 2016 Webby Awards on May 16th.

According to the Webbys, which is a ceremony celebrating excellence on the Internet, Kanye has changed “the cultural paradigm of how music is shared, released, presented, and consumed” thanks to his latest album, The Life of Pablo, which was was reportedly streamed more than 250 million times during its first ten days of availability exclusively through TIDAL.

In other news, Yeezus recently revealed that he has a The Life Of Pablo tour planned this September in addition to two more projects, one of which is the previously announced Turbo Grafx 16.

Although the Webbys are taped live, fans will have to wait until the following evening to catch the event on television.
