Kanye West Being Sued For $2.5 Million Over Sample

Kanye West has been enjoying the success of his The Life Of Pablo album, but now faces a $2.5 million lawsuit over a sample he used on Yeezus.

TMZ reports that Hungarian composer Gabor Presser was contacted by Kanye to use a snippet of his music for the end of his hit single “New Slaves.” Gabor agreed under the conditions that they made a formal contract and although there was allegedly a check for $10,000 sent to him, it was never cashed and now he wants $2,500,000 for his misfortune.

Hopefully Kanye can come to a resolution outside of court.
