Young Thug’s “Best Friend” Single Goes Platinum

Young Thug released the Be El Be-directed visuals for his Slime Season hit “Best Friend” late last year, and now the RIAA has some good news as the single has officially earned platinum status.

This is the first time Thugger has achieved a platinum record on his own, having previously made over 1 million sales on “Lifestyle” along with former friend Rich Homie Quan. What makes it even more impressive is that he has yet to release his official debut album.
