For D.I.T.C.’s weekly Monday release, Fat Joe, Diamond D, and Lord Finesse come together on “Rock Shyt.”

The sampling here is crazy, with a sharp guitar riff and an emphatic “woo” providing a cinematic backdrop for the classic street rhymes of the D.I.T.C. emcees, who haven’t lost much of their bite in their veteran years. Indeed, they believe their music will stay relevant “long after the tight jean era.”
