Lil Wayne Received The Key To Lafayette

Lil Wayne got himself a brand new chain on Monday.

Before taking to the stage at the University of Louisiana in Lafayette, the Young Money rapper was presented a key to the city by Mayor-President Joel Robideaux.

“We appreciate what you and TIDAL have done on behalf of the philanthropic efforts and we’re so proud of our Ragin’ Cajuns, Alpha Phi Alpha, for what they did and we want to present to you a very special key to the city that we made specifically for you,” said Robideaux.

Tunechi responded with laughter claiming he had finally “made it” as he put on the unique necklace.

He then grabbed the mic and performed a concert for UL Lafayette students as part of TIDAL’s Social Wave for Change initiative, which rewards college students for their community service. The event was streamed live via TIDAL.
